JOB SUMMARY:

  • Working closely with senior marketing leadership, the Sr Data Analyst Marketing Analytics, will produce and review strategic dashboards and ad-hoc reports to understand Company performance and demand generation across marketing, promotions, email, direct mail and media, while managing key analytics solutions to assist with the optimization of marketing spend.
  • Utilizing cruise consumer behavior and performance metrics, this role will be pivotal in driving business growth and supporting marketing initiatives across North America and international markets, delivering actionable insights to enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty, and revenue growth.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and evolve lead, customer profile, bookings, web and multi-channel marketing reporting to optimize conversion for marketing, sales, revenue management, executives, and partners.
  • Conduct in-depth ad hoc analyses of competitive positioning, promotions, and customer trends using KPIs and visualization tools to deliver concise, insight-driven summaries and presentations to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Leverage SQL, relational databases, and business analysis skills to mine customer and program-level data for actionable marketing insights.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and accessibility of measurement datasets to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and manage end-to-end marketing measurement capabilities, including media mix modeling and web behavior analytics
  • Provide audience segmentation insights and cross-channel performance analysis to enhance targeting and improve marketing ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to evolve reporting methodologies and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Support quarterly and annual marketing planning through scenario modeling, demand forecasting, and strategic input on marketing spend.
  • Maintain marketing analytics best practices, including concise decks with insights, automating KPIs into a data visualization platform, leading marketing assessment readouts, and facilitating cross functional collaboration.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field of study

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytical or quantitative roles involving business analysis or marketing analytics.
  • Hands-on experience building data visualizations and reporting solutions using platforms such as Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • Experience working with ETL processes involving complex data is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Highly analytical with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in Adobe Analytics preferred.
  • Experience in R/Python is preferred but not required.
  • Experienced in developing automated tools and solutions.
  • Experience in predictive modeling or data science also preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders within and outside Marketing Analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, quality-oriented, delivery-oriented, and able to self-prioritize work.
  • Passion for using data to solve complex business questions and drive business solutions with a strong desire to build a career in the field.
