Position Specific Description
Employees in this role are responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of third-party sales initiatives for repair services, finished goods, and procured parts supporting wind and solar generation equipment. The Sales Manager is accountable for driving revenue growth and achieving gross profit and margin targets through effective customer engagement, business development, and sales team leadership.
This position develops and executes sales strategies, identifies new market opportunities, and cultivates strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders to generate sustainable business growth. The Sales Manager leads and coaches a team of sales professionals, establishes performance expectations, and monitors key sales metrics to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Employees in this role regularly engage with customers, suppliers, industry partners, and key decision-makers through onsite visits, trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company capabilities, strengthen strategic partnerships, and identify emerging opportunities. This role collaborates closely with operations, production, supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams to align customer requirements with organizational capabilities, maximize customer satisfaction, and deliver profitable growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to generate sales opportunities and expand market presence
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for repair services, finished goods, and procured parts
- Travel to customer locations, vendor facilities, industry conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services and strengthen customer relationships
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales presentations to customers
- Coordinate with production, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements, lead times, and delivery commitments are achieved
- Maintain customer activity records, sales forecasts, and opportunity pipelines within company systems
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to support sales growth strategies
- Resolve customer inquiries and support post-sale activities to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Job Overview
Employees in this role build relationships with national and key account customers to drive sales. This position is responsible for selling residential products and services directly to end use customers through B2B sales. This position will work closely with the sales team and product managers to strategize business development activities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Identifies, interviews, screens, and make presentations and to potential B2B sales partners at a national level
- Builds rapport and establishes trust, leading to long lasting partner relationships
- Provides action plans with timing to resolve any noncompliance and performs field audits for quality assurance
- Ensures brand standards compliance with all products, services and processes to promote operational excellence and superior customer experiences
- Develops, maintains and executes training programs and initiatives for partner network
- Negotiates and executes contracts between the company and B2B partners
- Serves as point person for elevated issues in the field and mitigate customer complaints, overseeing escalations and inquiry process between internal and external stakeholders
- Works across all product lines to ensure sales on behalf of the company through partnerships
- Performs business evaluations, tracks and facilities progress by gathering and analyzing data, and makes recommendations, building commitment and overcoming objections
- Monitors and measures overall performance of partnership and ensure partner satisfaction
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
