You’ll suit a part-time, second-shift role serving evening and weekend needs, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. You can work from home after required in-office training, but you must live within the Omaha area and be able to reach the office during an outage. Orientation takes place during daytime hours, and PALS certification may be required depending on the department.

Triage RN - Medical Communication Center - Work From Home (Part Time)

Position Highlights:

This position has the opportunity to be able to work from home after required in-office training (6-12 weeks). Orientation consists of first shift/daytime hours (7AM - 5PM). Must live in the Omaha area ( 1hour radius) incase of outage that would require you to come into the office.

Shift Differential:

10% of base pay for second shift

9% of base pay for weekends or holidays

Shift Details:

Part Time | 0.5FTE | 20 Scheduled Weekly Hours

Evening and Weekend Hours

Every other weekend and Rotating Holidays

Provide and coordinate delivery of clinical resources to assure safe, high quality patient care and ensure continuity of care. Perform duties in an environment of care where the needs of a patient are short term, non-acute, and non-life threatening.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate's in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.

• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) department dependent required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Based on position, prior experience in patient nursing, specialty/primary care clinic and/or telephonics preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
• Proficient with use of email applications preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records preferred.

• Specific to the Medical Call Center department; multi-state license preferred.
