ABOUT GLOBAL TV DISTRIBUTION
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in over 200 territories across the globe. This includes a rich library of more than 6,000 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, animation, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Audience Development, the Associate Content Producer will support the growth of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of conflict-driven daytime talk shows, including Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve Wilkos, and Karamo, by creating and publishing high-performing, platform-native video across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. You will transform a deep archive of episodic content into engaging clips and compilations, editing videos with motion graphics, subtitles, and other creative elements to maximize audience retention. You will also own the end-to-end publishing process, ensuring content is optimized through titles, thumbnails, and metadata to drive reach, engagement, and monetization. The role requires operating at pace, publishing high volumes of content and reacting quickly to trends and audience behavior to keep the portfolio culturally relevant. Using performance data and platform analytics, the associate will continuously refine content and formats, contributing to revenue growth while maintaining NBCUniversal’s editorial, creative, and compliance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use and generate briefs to creatively interpret and deliver on budgetary aims.
- Edit and publish videos using Adobe Premiere and/or bulk asset upload and creation products.
- Deliver video thumbnails, channel banners, animated gifs and endcards.
- Regularly contribute to discussions regarding channel success, offering ideas for building audiences and revenue.
- Regularly report to senior management on channel performance.
- Manage workflow and scheduling via Airtable.
- Ensure creative assets are labelled, archived and managed correctly.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in creative arts and design, graphic design, digital media and creative computing or similar.
- Portfolio that highlights individual creative flair within a commercial context.
- Minimum of one year’s experience gained in a digital media environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
