About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is recruiting an Account Manager to join a Canada-based email marketing agency that builds lifecycle email and SMS systems for DTC e-commerce brands across supplements, health and beauty, fashion, athletic wear and skincare, working in Klaviyo and Omnisend. The agency has worked with more than 50 brands and currently runs 27 active accounts, split between one-time setups and monthly retainers, delivered by a team of three copywriters, three designers and three implementers. You will take full ownership of a book of client accounts: the client's main point of contact, the person who plans the work ahead, allocates it across the team each day and reviews it before the client sees it. Success looks like every account's work delivered on time to a standard the client is happy with, without the founder needing to sit in the middle of daily delivery.
What You'll Do
- Act as the main point of contact for your clients, keeping communication clear and proactive over Slack and email
- Take full responsibility for each account's work from brief to delivery, so nothing waits on the founder
- Plan work ahead for both one-time setups and retainer clients, and allocate daily tasks across copywriters, designers and implementers
- Review the team's output before it reaches the client: flows, campaigns, pop-ups and reports, checked against the brief and the brand
- Keep priorities, deadlines and handoffs visible in ClickUp and Notion
- Track account results in Klaviyo, Omnisend and Hiro Analytics, and turn them into next steps and clear client updates
- Use Claude and ChatGPT to speed up drafting, summaries and planning where it helps
- Bring energy to the team and help it grow together as the client base grows
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years at another agency, with experience as the person clients talk to
- A strong client communicator, clear and warm in writing, since most communication happens over Slack and email
- A real understanding of how the lifecycle journey works for an e-commerce brand: how flows, campaigns and pop-ups fit together across email and SMS, from first visit to repeat purchase
- Familiar with Klaviyo and Omnisend, and comfortable working in Slack, ClickUp, Notion, Claude and ChatGPT. Experience with Hiro Analytics helps
- Knowledge of peptide or supplement brands is a plus, not a requirement
- Someone who knows what they are doing and takes ownership: you will stand out if you treat the agency like your own company
- Energetic and highly motivated, with strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, the ability to work under pressure and proactive communication
- A team player. The role is roughly 80% teamwork, 20% independent work, and feedback is informal and given during projects rather than in formal reviews
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- All client work delivered on time, across every account you manage
- Work planned ahead, so the team always knows what comes next
- Client results: each account hitting the outcomes agreed with the client
- Team growth: the team getting stronger and working better together under your coordination
- First 30 days: learn the agency, its clients and its team, and take over the day-to-day running of client work without the founder involved. By 60 days: planning and review running independently across your accounts. By 90 days: clients come to you first, and you are helping shape how the team works
What You Get
- Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location
- A remote-first role with international exposure to 27 active DTC e-commerce brands
- Real ownership of your accounts from day one, reporting directly to the founder
- A fast-growing agency: from three or four clients to 27 in six months, with more coming
