The Trade Marketing Lead is responsible for leading and developing all Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) trade marketing activities across in-store, online, and event channels within the Central East Europe cluster.
This role drives the strategic planning and implementation of trade marketing initiatives to support business growth, strengthen recommendations, and ensure excellent execution of key priorities across markets.
Working closely with Sales teams, the Trade Marketing Lead builds strong partnerships with customers, supports the achievement of business objectives, and contributes to delivering our Mission and Vision.
This position serves as the main point of contact for large-scale market activations and is accountable for their successful delivery, while also supporting the implementation of smaller events managed by team members.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Define and implement all Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) trade marketing activities across in-store, online, and event channels to improve health outcomes and increase sales, while ensuring the team consistently delivers market-leading plans and execution.
- Measure and analyse the results of trade marketing plans and activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive category recommendation and growth through Joint Business Planning with customers and partners.
- Ensure the team provides distinctive trade marketing assets and solutions to Sales representatives based on competitor analysis, market trends, and portfolio priorities.
- Lead and coordinate agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, while building strong relationships with the global content factory.
- Manage trade marketing budgets and planning processes.
- Be accountable for Royal Canin’s participation and brand image at major activations and events.
- Lead, develop, and engage the Cluster Trade Marketing team to build a high-performing organization.
