Job Summary
Through Marina Bay Sands’ award-winning community engagement programme, Sands Cares, the integrated resort uses its unique property offerings, philanthropic funding, as well as active team member volunteerism to help meet Singapore’s social needs.
As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intern, you will support the planning and execution of internal and external community events, and assist with other day-to-day functions within the Communications Team.
Job Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of dynamic volunteering events and special projects for various social causes under Sands Cares.
Develop strategic communication assets for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. newsletters and social media) to extend Marina Bay Sands’ position as an industry leader in social responsibility.
Day-to-day work includes assisting the team with coordinating Team Member volunteering activities, volunteer data consolidation and reporting; liaising with community partners and internal stakeholders.
Support and lend ideas to unique opportunities such as celebrity guest visits to engage beneficiaries in meaningful dialogue and sharing sessions
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements
Experience
No experience required as training will be provided
Other Prerequisites
Passion for giving back to the community
Eye for detail and strong event management skills
A strong command of written and spoken English
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Posses excellent oral and written communication
