The role is an eight-month maternity cover based in Baar, Switzerland, with leadership of two Brand Managers in Baar and one Innovation Manager in the UK. You’ll work across global and local teams in an international FMCG setting.

Lotus Bakeries is seeking an experienced and hands-on Global Marketing Manager to provide maternity cover for the nākd. and TREK brands within the Natural Foods division.
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day global management of both brands, ensuring seamless execution of the annual brand plans, innovation roadmap and market expansion initiatives. You will work closely with local marketing, commercial, innovation and R&D teams to maintain momentum behind two of our fastest-growing healthy snacking brands.
You have a direct reporting line to the Global Brand Director Natural Foods and lead the nākd. and TREK team (two Brand Managers in Baar, one Innovation Manager in the UK).
The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish credibility, manage multiple stakeholders and deliver impact from day one in a fast-paced international FMCG environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Brand Leadership
- Act as interim global brand owner for nākd. and TREK.
- Ensure delivery of annual growth objectives and strategic priorities.
- Maintain consistent brand positioning and communication across markets.
- Support local teams in driving penetration, awareness and brand engagement.
Innovation & Portfolio Management
- Lead ongoing innovation and renovation projects from concept through launch.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of agreed pipelines.
- Support portfolio optimization initiatives across key markets.
- Monitor launch performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Global Activation & Campaign Execution
- Drive execution of global brand campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and adapt marketing tools, guidelines and activation assets for local markets.
- Ensure best-in-class brand activation across digital, social media, e-commerce and retail channels.
- Share learnings and best practices across international markets.
Market & Commercial Support
- Partner with country teams to accelerate growth in focus markets.
- Support commercial teams with category insights, sell-in tools and growth opportunities.
- Monitor brand performance, consumer trends and competitive activity.
- Track marketing effectiveness and recommend actions to maximise ROI.
Stakeholder Management
- Build effective working relationships with teams across Marketing, Sales, R&D, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Act as the key point of contact for global nākd. and TREK initiatives.
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment between global and local stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive handover documentation for the returning manager.
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- A relevant academic background in the form a Master’s degree in a business-focused field. Any additions in marketing are considered a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic brand management within a branded international FMCG environment, giving you the confidence and skills to quickly integrate in the team and pick up your responsibilities.
- You have a personal affinity with healthy snacking, allowing you to bring passion and commitment for the products to the table. This passion is strengthened by your skills in bringing ideas to life and ability to build trust and confidence within your stakeholders.
- You combine a hands-on attitude with a curiousity to learn with the talent to think strategically and driving results on both short and long-term.
- You feel at ease in a multicultural and quickly changing environment, where you are able to collaborate and communicate on all levels. Fluency in English is a must.
