Manager, Business Development Operations
Department: Business Development
Location: Fully remote - Preferably UK
Reports to: Director, Business Development
Living Goods is a government performance partner that supports countries in Africa to build affordable, intelligent, high-impact community health systems. For almost 20 years, we have worked alongside the governments of Kenya, Uganda, and Burkina Faso to make community health work at scale. Our work focuses on aligning policies, financing, technology, and workforce to turn government investment into consistent, reliable, quality care for families. Our approach is research-proven, built for real-world constraints, and delivers life-saving care for about $2 per person served.
As global health funding tightens and expectations for measurable results grow, governments need systems they can afford, sustain, and manage for results. Our 2027–2030 strategy is built for this moment. It focuses on strengthening the operating foundations of government-led systems, scaling proven solutions, and developing new approaches to emerging challenges, including intelligent systems that use data and AI to better support government community health workers (CHWs) and the systems around them.
Our vision is simple: when families need healthcare, it’s there. Not eventually. Not only when a program reaches them. But reliably—through systems designed to work, improve, and endure.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Manager of Business Development (BD) Operations to serve as a key member of our fundraising team. You will own the systems, data, and processes that allow our fundraising team to operate, with a particular focus on our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365). In Year 1, you will lead the deployment of our newly optimized CRM in partnership with our internal tech team, and you will be the business owner of the system going forward.
This role is about more than keeping systems running. We are looking for someone who can turn clean data into insight, build processes that give fundraisers more time with donors, and produce the funding status reporting that the fundraising team, leadership, and the Board need. You will work closely with Finance, Programs, and Digital Transformation (internal tech). The position reports to the Director of Business Development and manages the Associate, Business Development Operations.
You will thrive in this role if...
You are a CRM expert who gets systems deployed and used. You can pick up a build that is already in motion, work with our internal tech team to finish it, and take it live. You know how to plan a rollout, test with real users, train a busy team, and manage the shift from the old way of working to the new one. Once the optimized CRM is live, you keep improving it.
You turn data into decisions. You know how to build a weekly fundraising dashboard, a monthly Board report, and a portfolio review that leaders can trust. You can spot trends, flag risks early, and tailor funding status updates to the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
You see a process and instantly see how to make it better. You can find where handoffs, duplicated steps, or unclear ownership are slowing a team down, and design simpler processes that people actually adopt. You build those processes into the tools the team uses every day, including our CRM and project management tools, so proposals, reporting, and deadlines run more smoothly. You’ve already put AI to work in a way that transformed a process, not just sped up a task, and you can walk us through it: what you built, what it replaced, the results, and the guardrails you used.
You know how to manage up, down, and across. You set priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and keep shared services working together. You build trust with fundraisers, finance, and technical teams.

Compensation
A competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience including health insurance and bonus opportunity. The opportunity to be your best while making lives better for those in need.
