What you'll do

You'll prepare commercial account submissions with underwriting details supplied by the producer
You'll coordinate deadlines and ongoing tasks with the commercial lines manager and service staff
You'll support market selection, pursue quotations, and build proposal materials with the Account Executive
You'll compare submissions, quotations, and proposals, then make directed changes after client meetings
You'll arrange binders and client sign-off, issue certificates and auto ID cards, invoice, and check policies and endorsements

What you bring

You'll need at least three years working with a small commercial lines book of business
Keep an active Property and Casualty license
Bring strong software skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
Communicate effectively in writing and speech, with experience using carrier rating software
AMS 360 experience is highly preferred

Farm Creek Insurance is looking to add new talent to their commercial lines team. This position can reside in either Nottingham or Cambridge , MD and is hybrid.

A Commercial Lines Account Manager works closely with producers and commercial lines managers in providing ongoing support to their commercial accounts. The right candidate has 3-6 or more years of experience working in the insurance industry with commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the applications for the submission with underwriting information provided by the Producer.

Daily ongoing relationship with Commercial Lines Manager regarding specific deadlines and on-going projects/tasks
Work with the service staff to meet timeline (deadlines)
Work with assigned Account Executive on marketing procedures with discussed selected markets
Follow up with Markets for quotations
Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive
Create Proposal booklets
Check for any discrepancy’s b/w submission/quotation/proposal
Make any proposal changes and quotations from client meeting with the producer directed by the Account Executive
Work with Producer to provide binders of insurance/Get client sign off
Certificate issuance
Check policies with submission/quotation/proposal
Invoice
Check endorsements against Account Executive requests
Issue auto ID Cards

Requirements:

3 + years experience with working a small commercial lines book of business.

· Active Property &Casualty license

· Must have strong computer software and in using Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word

Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must have experience with carrier rating software
Experience with the AMS 360 is highly preferred
