Role brief

growthroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Open the Peru territory by setting account strategy and securing its first enterprise revenue
  • Run prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and closing yourself across complex enterprise opportunities
  • Create outbound pipeline without inbound or inherited leads, then turn large contracts into expansion revenue
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and compliance and operations leaders to establish internal champions
  • Document the local sales approach and relay market needs to product and engineering

What you bring

  • At least five years closing enterprise B2B SaaS as a quota-carrying account executive
  • Enterprise selling experience at an established SaaS business plus closing work at a hyper-growth startup
  • A record of winning large-ACV, multimillion-TCV deals through lengthy, complex sales cycles
  • Experience launching a territory or building a go-to-market motion from the ground up
  • C1-level or stronger English, clean CRM and forecasting practices, and comfort with entirely outbound selling

Who this fits

You’ll suit a founding, individual-contributor sales role where you own Peru from pipeline creation through expansion. The work calls for executive selling across complex buying groups and sustained outbound discipline. The role is remote in Peru and follows US business-hour overlap. The listing also names Brazil as a location requirement, creating a geographic conflict with the Peru details.

From the employer

The Opportunity

You will be the first sales hire on the ground in Peru for a venture-backed AI company that is expanding across Latin America. This is a founding seat: you own the market from zero, build the outbound motion and the local playbook, and land the first enterprise logos in your territory. Ninety days in, you have a targeted account list and live conversations moving; twelve months in, you have closed complex deals and set the template every AE after you will follow.

What You'll Own

  • Open the Peru market end to end, from account strategy through first closed revenue.

  • Run the full enterprise cycle solo: prospecting, discovery, multi-stakeholder negotiation, and close.

  • Build pipeline through outbound. Assume no inbound and no inherited leads.

  • Land large deals and grow them, taking initial six-figure contracts into seven figures through land-and-expand.

  • Multi-thread across senior buyers (CIO, CTO, Heads of Compliance and Operations) and find your champion inside complex organizations.

  • Write the local sales playbook and push product and engineering on what your market actually needs.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years closing enterprise B2B SaaS, in a quota-carrying AE seat.

  • Enterprise sales experience at an established SaaS company.

  • Closing experience at a hyper-growth startup.

  • A real track record of closing large-ACV, multimillion-TCV deals with long, complex cycles (think 9 to 18 months).

  • Experience opening a territory or building go-to-market from scratch, ideally as an early or founding hire.

  • Comfort operating 100% outbound, with the discipline to build pipeline where the brand is unknown.

  • Strong discovery and executive-level selling into large, multi-stakeholder buying committees.

  • Clean CRM and forecasting habits .

  • C1+ English.

  • Based in Brazil.

Nice to Have

  • Sold AI, automation, or voice technology into traditional enterprises (logistics, banking, healthcare).

  • Experience selling into industries that are skeptical of AI and slow to change.

  • Built a sales playbook or a startup motion inside a larger company.

Details

  • Location: Peru

  • Time Zone: US business-hours overlap

  • Type: Full-time
