What you'll do

- Develop engineering staff across shifts and represent the site in client reviews and senior-level updates
What you bring
- A graduate engineering qualification with at least five years’ experience, or a diploma with eight to ten years
- Background overseeing large properties with their own substations and the specified critical systems
- Experience leading varied engineering disciplines across multiple shifts
- Commercial capability covering budgets, supplier agreements and spending oversight
- Working knowledge of legal compliance duties and ISO management frameworks

Role Summary
Lead engineering operations, technical governance, and account management for the Client's data center campus at Airoli. Own site-level uptime, compliance, and commercial performance as the single point of accountability between JLL, the Client, and critical services vendors.
Critical Infrastructure & Site Operations
- Oversee operation and maintenance of substation and critical systems: Transformers, UPS, PAC/PAHU, FWU, Liquid Cooling, HT/LT Panels, Chiller plants, BMS, CPM, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Detection & Suppression.
- Manage DG set operations and HT installations (11kV–220kV); hold personal HT work authorization.
- Lead project transitions, equipment commissioning, and major works, ensuring quality assurance and documentation at each stage.
Maintenance & Vendor Governance
- Own Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance programs; manage work orders and asset tracking via CMMS (ServiceNow).
- Govern vendor and OEM performance across incident response, maintenance delivery, and contract renewals.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain statutory compliance records; lead audit preparation and attestations for JLL and the Client.
- Govern certification compliance across QMS, ITSM, ISMS, BCMS, EnMS, EMS, and OHSE standards.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Manage capital and operating expenditure from budgeting through delivery, including asset lifecycle planning.
- Hold commercial accountability for site engineering performance and vendor spend.
- Drive energy efficiency initiatives aligned to the Sustainability Management Plan.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop multi-disciplinary engineering teams across shifts, maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the Client's primary site contact, representing JLL in governance reviews, QBRs, and senior stakeholder reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Graduate Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) with 5+ years' experience, or Diploma Engineer with 8–10 years' experience.
- Proven experience managing large facilities with in-house substations and critical infrastructure as outlined above.
- Strong people management across multidisciplinary, multi-shift teams.
- Commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, vendor contracts, and expenditure governance.
- Working knowledge of statutory requirements and ISO management systems.
- Strong communication skills; able to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Resilient and customer-centric; effective in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
