About this role:

The Strategic Insights Consultant (Economics & Public Sector) sits at the critical intersection of policy, economic research, and executive decision-making. As a key member of Infomineo’s team, you will transform comprehensive economic, socioeconomic, and public sector research into compelling, actionable narratives that address clients’ most pressing institutional challenges. This role is ideal for professionals with experience at top-tier consulting firms (preferably MBB or Tier 1) who thrive on economic analysis, public policy evaluation, crafting clear business cases, and communicating insights with impact.

What you will do:

• Insight Synthesis & Analysis: Translate complex macroeconomic data, public policy reports, and sector studies into clear, concise insights aligned with client objectives.
• Economic & Policy Analysis: Evaluate macroeconomic trends, public expenditure, economic development initiatives, and regulatory frameworks to support government entities and management consultancies.
• Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives and presentations that effectively communicate the 'so-what' of economic and policy research to senior stakeholders.
• Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations that help public sector entities and international institutions optimize economic strategies and policy design.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal research teams to ensure analytical methodologies are sound, thorough, and strategically focused.
• Client Engagement: Interact directly with public sector organizations, development funds, and consulting partners to refine deliverables and provide strategic guidance.
• Knowledge Development: Contribute to internal best practices for synthesizing economic data, policy frameworks, and public sector business cases.

Who you are

• Experience: 5-10 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB or Tier 1 preferred) with a proven track record of delivering strategic insights and recommendations focused on economics, public policy, or economic development.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s in Economics, MPA/MPP, or MBA is a plus).
• Skills:
• Exceptional quantitative, economic, and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong storytelling and presentation capabilities with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
• Ability to distill complex socioeconomic data and policy issues into actionable strategic insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mindset: Client-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented with a passion for public sector transformation and evidence-based policy narratives.
