The Role
HII - America’s largest shipbuilder and a global, all-domain defense provider- has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Communications intern in the Summer of 2027!
For 10 weeks at our Corporate office in Newport News, Virginia, you will:
- Support Communications needs as they arise with specific focus on advertising and branding
- Editing documents
- Writing assignments
- Gathering of photos and videos
- Event planning and execution
- Social media post and other content development
- Website support

Must Have
1. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Official transcripts will be required)
2. 4. Ability to work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer
