Why Hover wants you
You know how to get into a large organization—not just onto one person's calendar. You can look at a company, work out what it is actually trying to achieve, and connect that to a product that changes how its teams work. That instinct is what we need as Hover moves upmarket into enterprise accounts, and it's why this seat exists: pipeline for our Large Accounts segment is the input to everything we close in 2026. You'll be joining a sales development team with real process behind it and a track record of hitting its number, selling a product the largest roofing companies, inspection firms, and insurance carriers in the country already rely on. If you want to learn the enterprise motion somewhere the product does the heavy lifting on credibility, this is a good place to do it.
You will contribute by
You'll own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for Hover's largest accounts. That starts with research and judgment—identifying which organizations in your patch are genuinely worth pursuing, understanding their business goals, and building a point of view on why Hover matters to them specifically. From there you'll run outbound across phone and email, multi-thread into accounts where no single person makes the decision, and qualify opportunities to the standard our Enterprise and Large Account Executives can act on. You'll generate a defined quota of Sales Qualified Leads, and as Hover's sales motion moves further upmarket, you'll increasingly stay involved with those opportunities past the initial handoff. You'll use AI tooling to take the repetitive work off your plate so that your time goes where it matters: real conversations with real customers. And you'll spend meaningful time learning—becoming a certified expert in Hover's products and the customers we serve is the first thing we'll ask you to do.
In a typical week:
- ~50% live sales activity across phone and email
- ~20% prospecting research, CRM hygiene, and process
- ~15% learning and development, including product and customer certification
- ~15% collaboration with Account Executives, Channel Representatives, Customer Experience, and Revenue Enablement
Your background includes
- Experience in an outbound sales development, business development, or inside sales role, with a track record against a measurable pipeline or meeting target
- Comfort and confidence on the phone, including cold outreach to people who are not expecting your call
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to be concise and specific with senior audiences
- A working method for qualifying leads and deciding where your time goes when there is more to do than time to do it
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to research accounts, draft outreach, and remove repetitive work
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience prospecting into enterprise or large organizations where deals are multi-threaded across several stakeholders
- Familiarity with modern prospecting tooling such as Outreach, Clay, Gong, or similar
- Exposure to construction, roofing, property services, or insurance—or genuine curiosity about them
