Job Description:
GT's Living Foods is looking for a Director, Brand Management to lead the marketing team across all eight of our brands and drive one cohesive brand and business strategy. This is not a single-brand role: you'll own the operating plan across the full portfolio and lead, coach, and develop the Brand Managers who run each brand day to day. This role is open to candidates from any consumer packaged goods (CPG) background. Food & beverage and health & wellness experience is especially valued, but we also welcome strong brand leaders from across the broader CPG landscape (household, personal care, etc.). We're looking for someone who brings the caliber of brand-building rigor and people leadership and is excited to apply it in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the long-term brand vision and strategy across GT's full brand portfolio, ensuring every brand plays a clear, differentiated role in driving the business forward.
- Build and execute brand growth plans across the portfolio, translating strategy into clear action for each brand.
- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and execution across all brands, from goal-setting through delivery against volume, revenue, and profit targets.
- Drive business growth through effective planning, prioritization, and execution across the portfolio.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Brand Managers, building a high-performing brand organization and creating clear paths for their growth.
- Own portfolio-level P&L, balancing investment across brands to drive profitable growth for the business as a whole.
- Act as a visible, influential leader with senior cross-functional partners (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Insights, Operations) as well as external partners (agencies, retail partners).
- Ensure alignment and accountability across the brand team, and set the standard for brand execution across the portfolio.
- Champion collaboration across brands to identify synergies, share best practices, and improve marketing effectiveness portfolio-wide.
- Represent brand marketing at the leadership level, reporting results, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and the CMO.
- Build organizational capability by strengthening the team's core marketing fundamentals and supporting succession planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement across the brand organization and drive adoption of best practices.
- Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of building and running a team, not just an individual book of work.
- Strong accountability and performance management skills, comfortable setting clear expectations and addressing gaps directly.
- Ability to keep teams aligned, focused, and executing against strategic priorities, even as circumstances change.
- Experience leading through complexity, including managing multiple brands simultaneously without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic thinker who can set a multi-brand vision and translate it into clear, actionable operating plans.
- Results-driven, with a track record of delivering against volume, revenue, and profit targets across a portfolio.
- Strong executive presence, comfortable representing the brand organization to senior leadership.
- Player-coach mentality: able to flex between setting big-picture strategy and getting hands-on with execution when needed.
- Flexible and resilient, with a drive to keep things moving forward and bring solutions rather than needing to have the final say.
- Data-driven decision maker, able to translate complex data into portfolio-level insight and clear recommendations.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, comfortable engaging at the executive level.
- Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift.
- Understanding of the shopper marketing and omnichannel retail landscape, including how digital and in-store touchpoints influence purchase decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams across brands.
- Detail-oriented and genuinely passionate about doing the little things well.
GT’s Employee Experience (Benefits/Perks):
- Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision
- 401K with Matching
- Discounts on the amazing GT’s product line
- Corporate Discounts with our partners thru LifeMart (concert & sporting event tickets, cell phone service, gifts, restaurants, hotels, childcare, and more!)
- Others: food trucks every weekday, and quarterly employee appreciation events
