Who this fits

This role suits a customer-facing seller who can work across technical and commercial teams and manage several extended pursuits independently. You’ll cover EPC accounts across the Americas, from Canada to South America, and should be prepared to travel up to half the time.

From the employer

If you enjoy building strong relationships, solving technical challenges, and making a meaningful impact for customers, this role is for you. Behind every major process facility is an EPC firm making high-stakes decisions about the equipment that will run it for decades.

As FS-Elliott’s Account Manager for EPC Accounts across the Americas, you will be the trusted partner those firms rely on when compression is on the line, helping them identify the right integrally geared centrifugal compressor solutions and guiding them from early project stages through award, installation, and long-term support. You will collaborate across teams, travel throughout the region from Canada to South America, and play a central role in expanding FS-Elliott’s presence in these important markets.
  • Own the EPC relationship. Serve as FS-Elliott’s primary contact for your EPC accounts and their end-user clients, and represent their requirements to our engineering, product management, and project teams.
  • Win the specification. Engage EPC process and rotating equipment engineers at the front end of projects and position FS-Elliott solutions before the bid package is issued.
  • Lead the pursuit. Build strategic sales plans for target projects, direct Sales Support through the quoting and bid process, and deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers.
  • Solve the hard applications. Partner with Product Management to develop alternative solutions when an application falls outside our standard product line.
  • Close the deal. Negotiate orders and contracts alongside Finance, Legal, and Contracts Administration, identifying technical and commercial risks early and building mitigation plans.
  • Stay with the customer. Coordinate with our Aftermarket team through installation and commissioning, and grow the relationship into long-term service and future project business.
  • Know the market. Track EPC project activity and competitor offerings across the Americas, share market intelligence, contribute to product and process improvement, and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Experience selling engineered equipment, ideally rotating equipment or compressors, to EPC firms or industrial end users
  • Working knowledge of how EPC projects are specified, bid, and awarded, including vendor qualification and technical bid evaluation
  • A basic technical understanding of compressed air and gas compression systems, and the confidence to discuss it with engineers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers with clarity and care
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills with sound business judgment
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the curiosity to understand challenges and find the right path forward
  • A collaborative mindset focused on team and customer success, with the ability to work independently
  • Dependability, integrity, and ownership in managing responsibilities and commitments
  • The organization to manage multiple long-cycle pursuits and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, ERP tools, and Salesforce CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
