About the Role:
The Assistant Brand Manager will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives for an established portfolio across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This role will contribute to locally relevant campaigns, portfolio initiatives and integrated marketing plans designed to drive brand growth, consumer engagement and new consumption occasions. The position offers broad exposure across the marketing mix, including strategic planning, campaign execution, performance analysis, innovation, packaging and budget management.
The role is offered on a 6 months contract with Ferrero.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the development of annual brand plans based on brand positioning, consumer insights and local market dynamics
- Help translate regional and global brand strategies into locally relevant growth initiatives
- Contribute to strategic planning discussions, presentations and recommendations for brand investment
- Establish clear objectives and measures of success for key brand activities
- Plan, coordinate and execute integrated brand campaigns across multiple markets
- Manage agency relationships throughout the campaign process, from briefing and development through to execution and evaluation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver campaigns effectively, monitor campaign performance against agreed objectives and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support new product launches and market expansion initiatives
- Coordinate the development and local adaptation of consumer communications
- Work with commercial, finance and supply chain teams to ensure effective launch planning and execution
- Track launch performance and recommend actions based on results
- Analyse monthly sell-in, sell-out and market performance using internal and external data
- Prepare brand performance updates, highlighting trends, risks and growth opportunities
- Monitor brand health and support consumer research initiatives
- Track key commercial, supply chain and campaign performance indicators
- Support brand P&L and advertising and promotion budget management
- Ensure purchase orders, invoices and expenditure are managed accurately and on time
- Coordinate point-of-sale material development in line with brand guidelines and channel priorities
- Support packaging and artwork development for new products and visual updates
- Work closely with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality and external partners to ensure timely delivery
About You:
- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in brand marketing, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear business recommendations
- Creative and commercially minded approach to brand building
- Experience managing projects, campaigns and external agency partners
- Confidence working across multiple markets and within a cross-functional, matrix environment
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable navigating changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with Nielsen and SAP would be beneficial
- Regional experience across Asian markets would be an advantage
- Proficiency in English; any Asian language capabilities would be an advantage
