Summary:

The National Sales Center (NSC) Communications Specialist develops and delivers timely, accurate, and engaging internal communications that help team members and leaders understand business priorities, process changes, product updates, and company news. This role owns the weekly newsletter and NSC portal and supports communications through email, presentations, video, and other approved channels. The Specialist partners with subject-matter experts and leaders from the front line through the executive level to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messages that drive awareness, readiness, and consistent execution across the NSC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end production and release of the NSC weekly newsletter, including content intake, drafting, editing, approvals, formatting, distribution, and archival.

  • Draft, edit, and publish clear communications about process, policy, system, product, pricing, program, and organizational updates.

  • Select and use the appropriate communication medium for each audience, including email, newsletters, portal content, presentations, huddle materials, job aids, graphics, and video.

  • Record, edit, caption, and publish short-form videos and other multimedia content as needed to support learning, engagement, and change adoption.

  • Partner with subject-matter experts to validate technical and operational content before release and ensure communications are accurate, actionable, and aligned with approved guidance.

  • Adapt messaging for audiences ranging from front-line team members and people leaders to directors and above.

  • Maintain the NSC communications calendar, intake queue, distribution lists, templates, shared files, and archive of past communications.

  • Coordinate review and approval workflows, manage competing deadlines, and follow up with content owners to support timely releases.

  • Monitor readership, engagement, feedback, and acknowledgment results when available; recommend improvements to content, timing, format, and channel strategy.

  • Support urgent or time-sensitive communications and complete additional NSC communications assignments as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, plus experience with video recording and editing tools and basic visual-content creation using applications such as Adobe suite, Sway, and Poppulo.

  • Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in internal communications, content development, employee communications, marketing communications, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated experience producing recurring communications, managing editorial deadlines, and coordinating reviews with multiple stakeholders.

  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating writing, editing, newsletter, presentation, and video or multimedia capabilities preferred.

  • Experience supporting a sales, contact-center, operations, or other fast-paced workforce environment is preferred.
