About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of eight Account Managers within our Professional Hygiene business. Based in Oslo, you will create clarity, engagement, and strong commercial execution across a geographically distributed team.


You will translate business priorities into effective sales plans, strengthen forecasting and pipeline management, and establish consistent ways of working. As a visible and approachable leader, you will coach team members, foster trust, and bring people together around a shared direction.


The role forms part of the Norwegian management team and works closely with colleagues across sales, revenue growth, tenders, marketing, and other commercial functions.


This role requires regular travel across Norway, as well as occasional travel within the Nordic region, and reports to the Commercial Director.


What You Will Do

  • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop eight Account Managers across Norway, providing clear expectations, regular feedback, and meaningful development support.
  • Sales Performance: Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns that deliver sustainable commercial results.
  • Commercial Planning: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor performance against plans, and respond to emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Data-Driven Sales: Strengthen the use of CRM, pipeline management, customer insights, and commercial analytics to improve decision-making and execution.
  • Customer Prioritization: Allocate resources based on customer potential, profitability, and current categorization to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Contribute to sales, marketing, pricing, customer retention, and distribution strategies while partnering effectively across functions.
  • Market Development: Build knowledge of customer needs, market developments, and competitor activity, sharing relevant insights with internal stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • You bring proven people-leadership experience, including leading and coaching sales teams.
  • Experience within B2B sales in Norway or a large commercial organization would be preferable.
  • You are comfortable using CRM systems, pipeline-management tools, sales forecasting, reporting, and commercial data to support decisions and improve performance.
  • You combine strong business acumen with a structured, analytical, and data-driven mindset. You build trust, communicate with energy, provide constructive feedback, and can engage experienced professionals through change.
  • You are fluent in Norwegian and communicate confidently in English.
  • You are also willing to travel extensively within Norway and occasionally across the Nordic region.
