This position independently leads selected opportunities from qualification through purchase order while helping build the capability of the wider sales organization to scale successful Lifecycle Services offerings. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Opportunity identification and creation. Identify, create and pursue new Lifecycle Services opportunities within existing and new customers, independently and in collaboration with account managers. Translate market, installed-base and customer insights into a prioritised opportunity funnel.
  • Customer and solution engagement. Act as a credible counterpart to customer subject-matter experts and decision-makers. Understand business drivers, operational challenges and goals, then shape service solutions that demonstrate clear customer value.
  • Opportunity pursuit and conversion. Own selected opportunities from initial contact and qualification through solution development, commercial positioning, negotiation and successful purchase order. Coordinate internal resources and maintain momentum, clarity and accountability throughout the pursuit.
  • Portfolio expertise and customer validation. Maintain strong knowledge of the Lifecycle Services portfolio. Lead customer presentations, workshops, service demonstrations, assessments, pilots and validation activity where appropriate, clearly explaining how the offering addresses customer problems.
  • Service agreements. Develop and convert opportunities for long-term service agreements, supporting customers to move from transactional service activity towards structured, value-based lifecycle support.
  • Start-up and commissioning. Identify and lead start-up and commissioning programmes and opportunities, engaging early in projects and coordinating with the relevant sales, project and service delivery teams.
  • Connected and digital services. Lead the development of connected and digital service opportunities within the UK & Ireland, aligning customer use cases, technical stakeholders and commercial value propositions.
  • Account development and sales enablement. Work with account managers to identify high-return sales actions for priority accounts. Establish relationships with the necessary customer stakeholders and enable account managers and sales teams to repeat successful service propositions after the initial sale.
  • Growth planning and market development. Develop and execute growth plans and initiatives that expand the customer base, increase share and support targeted competitor displacement across relevant industry sectors.
  • Market insight and customer feedback. Stay informed about market conditions, industry trends and competitor activity. Ethically gather market intelligence and customer feedback to strengthen positioning, improve offerings and inform business priorities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate across field and inside sales, service delivery, engineering, operations and regional business teams. Promote a One Emerson approach and ensure proposed solutions can be delivered effectively and at the right customer service level.
  • Commercial and performance ownership. Own the UK & Ireland Lifecycle Services budget, funnel and relevant account plans. Balance growth, customer value, deliverability and margin in opportunity decisions.
  • CRM, reporting and forecasting. Maintain accurate and timely records of customer activity, opportunities, account actions and project progress in CRM and other required tools. Provide reliable monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annual forecasts and business reviews.
  • Capability and continuous improvement. Share product and solution knowledge, demonstrate effective selling practices, maintain the personal knowledge required for the role and undertake stretch assignments that are business critical.

Who You Are: You consistently identify and pursue new opportunities that create value for customers and the business. You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
