The LSTS Contract supporting the Sustainment, Installations & Environmental Battalion (SIEB) at the Professional Education Center is seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Instructional Content Writer to develop course materials for Quartermaster and sustainment-related training programs. This is a temporary position expected to last 3 to 6 months, depending on the speed and quality of content development.
- Following the ADDIE process, develop high-quality professional instructional content for Quartermaster and sustainment courses.
- Collaborate closely with the Course Manager and Quartermaster Instructors to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Incorporate real-world knowledge of the daily, weekly, and monthly operations and responsibilities associated with Quartermaster positions.
- Participate in regular coordination meetings via Microsoft Teams and government email.
Position Details
Hours: 60 hours per pay period (approximately 120 hours per month)
Location: Fully remote (work from home)
Duration: 3–6 months
Requirements
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Quartermaster/sustainment operations, including daily, weekly, and monthly duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining close coordination with government and contract personnel.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to .mil systems via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) on a personal computer.
- Willingness to complete mandatory Army online training (Cyber Awareness, AT, OPSEC, etc.).
- Must possess or be willing to use a CAC reader (will be provided if needed).
- This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the development of critical instructional content for the Army National Guard FTUS personnel.
- Current or previous Secret clearance.
