Are you a communications or marketing professional passionate about using your skills to create meaningful social impact?
Join Cuso International and partner with Asociación Kallpa, a leading Peruvian organization dedicated to improving opportunities for children, youth, women, and vulnerable communities. As a volunteer, you will help strengthen strategic communications, enhance digital engagement, and increase the visibility of initiatives that promote health, education, gender equality, and sustainable development.
This is a unique opportunity to share your expertise, collaborate with committed local professionals, immerse yourself in a rich intercultural experience, and contribute to lasting, positive change while growing both personally and professionally.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Manage Newsletter & Editorial Content: Coordinate submissions, liaise with agency partners, and curate incoming text and photography to ensure all content meets strict editorial and visual guidelines before publication.
- Drive Social Media Strategy & Analytics: Monitor social media performance, implement forward-thinking digital marketing trends, and elevate our online presence while maintaining visual brand consistency.
- Standardize Regional Workflows: Establish streamlined, user-friendly digital planning tools and standardized submission procedures for regional teams to simplify material approvals and distribution.
- Enhance Institutional Communications: Collaborate with leadership to update the organization's overarching Communications Plan and Visual Identity Manual in line with new project goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- University degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of communication planning, digital marketing, and institutional positioning.
- Knowledge of community mental health, prevention of gender-based violence, employment and entrepreneurship, the environment, and sexual and reproductive rights.
- Intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills, both written and spoken.
Essential Background:
- Experience designing communications plans, improving brand identity guidelines, or developing digital marketing strategies.
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong editorial skills with a sharp eye for photography, formatting, and brand consistency.
- Proficiency in digital planning tools, content calendars, and email/WhatsApp coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills to standardize workflows across multi-regional teams.
- Creative mindset aligned with brand development, public relations, and social impact.

Support Package

Selection and Screening
If you are shortlisted, you will need to:
- Confirm passport or permanent resident details for travel
- Provide two professional references and one personal reference

- Agree to uphold the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and Code of Conduct
