  • Build the insights function through analytics, dashboards, forecasting models and post-launch reporting
  • Hire and develop a small senior group spanning sales, economy design and insights

What you bring

Who this fits

You’ll suit a senior commercial leader who can move between platform deals, pricing decisions, forecast scrutiny and analytics leadership. The role requires strong English communication and the ability to make data understandable to non-analysts. You must relocate to Frankfurt am Main and work hybrid, with three office days each week and up to two remote days.

From the employer

As Head of Commercial and Insights, you own the commercial engine behind Crytek's portfolio, reporting to the Chief Publishing Officer. You are accountable for how our games are priced, sold, forecasted and understood, across every storefront and every region.

You lead two connected disciplines. On the commercial side, you own storefront and platform strategy, pricing, promotions and revenue performance. On the insights side, you build the analytics capability that tells us what is actually happening, and what to do about it. Together they give publishing leadership a single, trustworthy view of the business.

This is a role for someone equally comfortable negotiating platform deals and challenging forecast models, and who wants to build an insights function from the ground up.

What You'll Do

    • Own commercial strategy across the portfolio: pricing, promotions, storefront positioning and revenue performance

    • Lead relationships with digital storefronts, platform holders and distribution partners

    • Own portfolio forecasting and the commercial planning cycle, and report performance to the Chief Publishing Officer

    • Build and lead the insights function, including analytics, dashboards, forecasting models and post-launch reporting

    • Set the KPI framework that governs go-to-market planning, campaign delivery and live operations

    • Partner with the Economy Designer on monetization design and in-game economy performance

    • Ensure commercial and player data is reliable, accessible and used in decision-making

    • Grow a small, senior team across sales, economy design and insights

What You Bring

    • 10+ years in commercial, sales or business operations roles in games or digital entertainment, including team leadership

    • Deep knowledge of digital storefront ecosystems and platform commercial models

    • Strong forecasting, pricing and revenue planning capability, with the rigour to defend a number

    • Experience building or materially improving an analytics or insights capability

    • Commercial contract literacy and partner negotiation experience

    • Comfort working with economy design and live-service monetization

    • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to make data legible to non-analysts

    • Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt am Main, Germany
