  • Plan each shoot around the main video plus b-roll, alternate ad takes, GIFs and still images
  • Guide on-camera talent and catch errors during filming before they reach the edit

  • You can handle cameras, lighting and audio, and edit with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • You can explain YouTube, TikTok and Instagram recommendation patterns and why viewers leave videos
  • You notice small errors, manage freelancers and deadlines, and use AI tools to work faster

Who this fits

This suits a hands-on producer who can run shoots, finish edits and manage several assets at once. The role is in-office in Tulsa, and applicants must live locally.

From the employer

This is an in office position. Only candidates local to Tulsa will be considered.

We're looking for an energetic, creative and focused Video Producer who genuinely cares about making great videos. You'll join our first in-house video pod in Tulsa, working alongside a video lead and our on-camera host and script writer.

You'll run the shoot in our in-house studio and work with our outside editors, who take footage most of the way in Adobe. Then you'll bring their cuts in-house and do the final pass. You'll also make sure every shoot captures everything the category needs beyond the main video: b-roll, ad variants, GIFs and stills for paid ads and lifecycle. You're the person in the room who catches the mistakes the on-camera talent can't see, and you own the quality of everything we publish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run shoots in our Tulsa office: camera, lighting, audio, set and shot list
  • Plan every shoot to capture the full asset set: main video, b-roll, alternate takes for ad variants, GIFs and stills
  • Direct on-camera talent and catch mistakes on set before they make it into the edit
  • Help build out and maintain the studio and gear
  • Hand off footage to outside editors with clear briefs, storyboards and deadlines
  • Manage our bench of outside editors (Upwork): find, test, onboard and give feedback
  • Bring editor cuts in-house and do the final pass in Premiere Pro: pacing, captions, graphics, sound and color
  • Cut and export ad variants and lifecycle assets to spec (aspect ratios, lengths and file sizes for paid platforms and email)
  • Quality-check every video for accuracy and brand standards before it goes live
  • Export, deliver and schedule videos to each platform's specs
  • Build and organize the category asset library (footage, b-roll, GIFs, images) so the paid, content and lifecycle teams can find and use it
  • Use AI tools to speed up rough cuts, captions and b-roll

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Credentials

  • 1–3 years of experience in video production
  • A reel of videos you've shot and edited, including things you've made on your own outside of class or work
  • Working knowledge of cameras, lighting and audio
  • Video editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Can explain how the YouTube, TikTok and Instagram algorithms work and what makes viewers drop off
  • A sharp eye for detail; you notice the things others miss
  • Organized enough to juggle multiple freelancers and deadlines at once
  • AI native: uses AI tools to work faster

Nice to Have

  • Experience producing paid social ads or cutting ad variants
  • Experience hiring or managing freelancers on Upwork or similar
  • After Effects or motion graphics skills
  • Experience shooting vertical, short-form video
  • Wants to be on camera and could serve as the category's on-camera host
