This role suits a creative communicator who can manage recurring content work alongside busier recruitment and event-promotion periods. You’ll work onsite in Vancouver from October 2026 through April 2027, for five to seven hours weekly during regular periods and eight to ten during campaign windows. Key Responsibilities
- Write and schedule content for EMP’s Instagram, LinkedIn and newsletter
- Develop content for mentee recruitment campaigns during the September push
- Draft copy and captions for event promotion and announcements
- Film and edit video content for marketing campaigns using tools such as Canva, iMovie, CapCut, or similar
- Support storytelling around EMP's mentors, mentees, and events
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications
- Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Photographer to align content with visuals
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms and content strategy
- Experience in branding and content calendar management
- Creativity and knowledge of current online trends
- Comfort managing multiple communications and content deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
