This position leads and executes complex, cross-functional initiatives and collaborates across the organization to ensure marketing programs are aligned with enterprise priorities, customer needs and growth opportunities.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Leads the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support business objectives, growth priorities and market positioning.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic counsel on marketing opportunities, customer engagement, market trends and go-to-market strategies.
- Translates business priorities and market insights into marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and business results.
- Partners with business, distribution and marketing stakeholders to identify opportunities, address challenges and develop solutions that support profitable growth.
- Leads the planning and execution of complex marketing initiatives, campaigns and programs that advance strategic priorities and strengthen brand visibility.
- Leverages insights to inform strategy, uncover opportunities and enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Establishes performance measures and evaluates program effectiveness, using data and insights to optimize marketing investments and improve outcomes.
- Builds alignment across stakeholders and leads cross-functional teams to drive execution and deliver results in a complex environment.
- Contributes to the evolution of enterprise marketing strategy, helping ensure investments, resources and programs support long-term business objectives.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Commercial insurance industry experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that support business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing, brand strategy, customer engagement and go-to-market planning.
- Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
- Experience building alignment across stakeholder groups.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how marketing contributes to growth, customer engagement and organizational success.
Education & Experience
- Commercial insurance industry experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible marketing experience.
- Experience developing and executing strategic marketing programs that support business growth and market positioning.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and managing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Leadership experience, including coaching, developing and motivating high-performing teams, preferred.
In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $97,000 to $189,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
