About the Role
Drive commercial growth for a seed-stage biotechnology ingredients company. You will connect the technical team with buyers at supplement brands and contract manufacturers, turning qualified leads into long-term customer partnerships.
What You'll Do
Build relationships with prospective and existing customers in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and related ingredient markets.
Manage B2B sales and business development opportunities from initial discussions through to long-term partnerships.
Translate technical product information into relevant customer conversations, working closely with the laboratory team.
Develop the commercial pipeline through industry events, distributors, and your professional network.
Travel as needed to meet customers and attend relevant industry events.
What We're Looking For
Two to four years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development in raw materials, supplements, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
Experience selling technical ingredients or products, ideally in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, or functional food ingredients.
A completed degree in a natural science or technical discipline, or a comparable qualification. Relevant fields include food technology, pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, and life sciences-focused business administration.
Fluent English and willingness to travel; German proficiency is an advantage.
Knowledge of the relevant ingredient market, including its customers, distributors, and industry events.
CRM experience and startup or scale-up experience are useful. Experience with cyclodextrin formulation is also an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is €60,000 to €80,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
