Job Overview

The Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications, supports the planning and execution of strategic partnerships, sponsorship initiatives, corporate events and stakeholder engagement programmes that strengthen the Group's reputation, relevance and connection with key audiences.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the incumbent assists in delivering meaningful brand experiences, community engagement initiatives and sponsorship programmes that enhance the Group's corporate presence and stakeholder relationships. The role also supports the evaluation and management of partnership and sponsorship opportunities, sponsorship entitlement fulfilment, and the establishment of effective tracking and reporting systems for sponsorship activities, budgets and expenses to ensure proper governance and resource management.

We are seeking a proactive and creative communications professional with strong project management, relationship-building and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and contribute to programmes that enhance brand visibility, stakeholder engagement and corporate reputation.

Responsibilities

Partnership & Sponsorship Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of strategic partnerships, sponsorship initiatives and stakeholder engagement programmes that enhance the Group's reputation and corporate brand.
  • Evaluate partnership and sponsorship opportunities, including application screening, assessment, due diligence and recommendation processes.
  • Assist in managing sponsorship entitlements and activation opportunities to maximize brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

Event Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate and implement corporate events, sponsorship activations, stakeholder engagement programmes and community initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal business units, external partners, vendors, industry associations, institutions and government bodies to ensure the successful delivery of programmes and events.

Departmental Operations & Financial Governance

  • Support the Manager in overseeing the day-to-day administration and operation of sponsorship programmes, partnership initiatives and corporate events.
  • Help establish and maintain a record management system to track corporate sponsorship activities, sponsorship entitlements, budgets and expenses, ensuring proper governance, reporting and resource management.
  • Coordinate budget tracking, purchase requisitions, payments and other administrative processes related to departmental activities.
  • Monitor programme performance and prepare reports, presentations and post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Leadership & Ad-hoc Support

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members (e.g. Officer – Corporate communications).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or other related disciplines.

Experience and skills:

  • Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, sponsorship management, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, event management, marketing or related fields.
  • Proven experience in organizing and managing corporate events, sponsorship programmes and partnership initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and reputation-building programmes.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently under tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Internet and social media savvy.
  • Proactive, creative and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
