Who this fits
This suits a hands-on growth marketer who can operate independently, test ideas quickly, and build demand in a market that needs education. You’ll be the sole growth hire, report to the CEO, and help shape positioning and go-to-market strategy without an established playbook or team. The role is full-time and onsite in New York.
From the employer
What Cassi is
Cassi is the AI operating system for residential property management. We're building the infrastructure layer that lets high-touch operators — the people managing 5 to 500 homes with real service standards — run their businesses without armies of coordinators. Think unified back-office intelligence, an AI agent that handles the coordination work, and a field app that keeps technicians in sync. We were pre-empted by multiple VC funds and signed a Series A term sheet in 6 days. We're early and we're moving fast.
Why this role exists
We've gotten to early ARR through direct outreach and founder-led sales. That got us here. It won't get us to the next stage. We need someone who can build the growth engine from scratch — inbound, outbound systems, website, content, distribution — and own it end to end. This is a founding role. You'll be the first dedicated growth hire, reporting directly to the CEO, with a seat at the table on positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy. In six months, you'll have materially moved how this market thinks about Cassi. That's the bar.
What you'll own
The full funnel. Concretely:
Build and execute Cassi's content strategy — written, social, and eventually video — that educates the market, builds category awareness, and drives inbound demo requests
Own website conversion: messaging clarity, landing pages, CTA architecture, and ongoing iteration based on what's actually working
Build and run outbound sequences and email programs that complement the sales motion and warm up cold audiences
Develop Cassi's LinkedIn and social presence into a genuine distribution channel — not a vanity metric, a pipeline source
Identify and pursue events, partnerships, and communities where our buyers actually spend time
Work toward a product-led motion as self-serve onboarding matures, laying the groundwork now
Own the analytics: know what's working, what isn't, and why
What we're looking for
Someone who has done this before at an early-stage B2B company, ideally vertical SaaS or a category that required market education, not just demand capture. You've built an inbound engine from near-zero. You're comfortable being the only growth person in the room and don't need a team under you to be effective.
Other characteristics:
You're analytical without being paralyzed by data. You form hypotheses, run experiments, and kill things that don't work
You understand that in a market Cassi is partly creating, education is the product. You have experience finding or creating new audiences
You've worked with a founder-led sales motion and know how to make marketing and sales feel like one machine
What this isn't
A role where you manage agencies and report on dashboards. There's no existing playbook to execute. If you need a fully built team and a defined channel strategy handed to you, this isn't the right fit.
