Job Purpose and Impact

The Communications Professional, Food LATAM implements internal and external communication strategies supporting both Food Colombia and the broader Food LATAM organization. This role develops and executes communication plans that strengthen employee engagement, support business priorities, enhance employer brand, and protect organizational reputation. Working with limited supervision, the role coordinates communication initiatives across multiple stakeholders, manages communication channels, supports organizational change efforts, and ensures consistent and effective messaging for both internal and external audiences.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies, annual communication plans, and campaigns aligned with Food Colombia and Food LATAM business priorities. Partner with business leaders, HR, and key stakeholders to drive employee engagement, organizational change, leadership communications, and employer brand initiatives. Create and deliver compelling communication content, messaging, and storytelling that supports business objectives, commercial achievements, sustainability initiatives, innovation programs, and employee engagement efforts. Manage and optimize communication channels, including SharePoint, newsletters, distribution lists, and other employee communication platforms, ensuring consistent branding and effective audience reach. Support reputation management and issue preparedness by monitoring communication risks and coordinating communication responses related to business, employee relations, or site-level incidents. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across business, HR, operational, and regional teams to ensure communication alignment and effectiveness across geographies. Measure communication effectiveness, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and stay current on communication trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in corporate, internal, or external communications.

  • Advanced English and native/fluent

  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.

  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies, plans, and campaigns.

  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
