Main accountabilities
Internal communications & engagement
- Cascade Group and regional communication initiatives.
- Actively identify and develop regional communication opportunities (success stories and business updates).
- Safeguard brand and messaging for organisational updates, events and engagement activities.
Stakeholder partnership & support
- Build strong relationships with, and support, regional leaders with communication planning and execution.
- Contribute to PMI phases of acquisitions with onboarding communications, including the development of collateral.
- Advise stakeholders on communication approaches, messaging, and channel selection.
External communications & media relations
- Distribute approved press releases through the official channels.
- Spot opportunities for, and develop content for media interviews, advertorials, and corporate publications.
- Coordinate external communication activities with regional leadership, Group Communications, and relevant business stakeholders.
- Help safeguard consistent application of corporate messaging and brand guidelines.
Social media & digital communications
- Develop regional content for social media channels and coordinate content planning and publishing.
- Digital fluency - help monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement across social and digital channels.
- Support regional content management across digital channels and platforms.
Brand stewardship & communication excellence
- Ensure communications align with brand standards and governance principles.
- Apply communication best practices, templates and guidelines.
- Support the measurement and continuous improvement of communication activities.
- Stay informed about communication trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
Experience & Education
- Education - bachelor's or master's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
- Experience - 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Communication & stakeholder skills - Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills; strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with senior leaders and C-level stakeholders; hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented mindset; strong organisational and project management skills.
- Digital & Systems Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. Experience with CRM systems, Meltwater and Agora Pulse is an advantage.
- Language skills - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, principals, and other stakeholders.
