Who this fits

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable splitting time between paid media and organic search while using AI tools without lowering quality. You’ll coordinate with lifecycle, social, content, product, and engineering teams in a fast-paced setting. The position is hybrid in Tribeca, with remote work on Monday and Friday and office days Tuesday through Thursday.

From the employer

About the role

Campus is building the marketing function that helps more students find us, choose us, and enroll. This role sits at the intersection of two things that matter a lot right now: organic search and paid digital. You'll own SEO and AEO strategy and execution — building the content and technical infrastructure that drives non-branded traffic — and support paid campaigns on Meta and Google under the Sr. Manager, Performance & Lifecycle Marketing’s direction.

This is a hands-on role. You'll write content, pull reports, build campaigns, and coordinate across teams. You'll use AI tools heavily and be expected to maintain quality while doing it. The work is real and the pace is fast.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

Paid Media (50%)

  • Manage and optimize paid campaigns for select programs on Meta and Google Ads under direction of Sr. Manager, Performance & Lifecycle Marketing — you're inheriting existing campaigns, not building from scratch

  • Support enrollment and application goals for specific programs by coordinating with lifecycle and social teams

  • Contribute to CVR goals by identifying opportunities across the paid funnel

  • Pull and interpret campaign performance data; surface insights clearly and quickly

SEO and AEO (50%)

  • Own organic search strategy and execution — keyword research, content planning, technical SEO priorities, and on-page optimization

  • Create content yourself: blog posts, organic landing pages, and program pages. You'll also coordinate content from Campus faculty, staff, and students

  • Build and manage SEO and AEO reporting in SEMrush — rank tracking, coverage monitoring, traffic analysis — and translate the numbers into clear business decisions

  • As needed, work closely with product and engineering to brief and prioritize technical SEO improvements — Core Web Vitals, schema implementation, crawl coverage, site architecture

  • Drive link building through outreach and authentic content placement

  • Stay current on AEO best practices and structure content accordingly

We’re excited about you because…

  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads — you've managed campaigns in the the platforms, not just reviewed reports

  • 3+ years of SEO experience in a fast-paced / start up environment, including at least one year in a strategic capacity — you've set direction, not just executed tasks

  • Strong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console — you set up tracking, build reports, and know what the data means

  • Experience with SEMrush or a comparable SEO platform

  • Strong writer — you can produce clear, on-brand content yourself, not just brief others

Strong plus

  • Experience in a consumer-facing, enrollment-driven, or SaaS environment

  • Familiarity with AEO and structured content for AI search visibility

  • Experience coordinating content contributors across a team or organization

What you’ll get:

  • A compensation package that includes a base salary ($120,000 - $125,000) + equity grant

    • Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary will be localized.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) match

  • Fertility benefits via Carrot

  • Flexible Time Away + paid holidays

  • In-office lunches for our NY Office (did we mention, we’re dog friendly? 🐶)

  • Hybrid work schedule (Mon & Fri remote; Tues-Thurs in-office)

  • Social events - happy hours, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, & more!

  • Opportunity to make an impact – you’ll be an integral player in bringing our vision to life

  • Where we’re located: Tribeca, NY
