More About The Role

We’re looking for an Account Manager (Corpsumer) to join Burson in Sydney, working across a mix of corporate and consumer clients and delivering integrated, reputation-led communications.

This role suits someone with a corpsumer background, bringing experience across B2C campaigns with exposure to B2B, and growing capability in issues-rich environments. A key focus for this role is a strong Data & Intelligence mindset, using insights, audience data and performance metrics to shape campaigns and strengthen outcomes.

Working closely with senior team members, you’ll help shape and deliver integrated campaigns across earned, social, digital and influencer channels, while managing day-to-day delivery and building strong client relationships. It’s a fast-paced role with strong exposure, offering the opportunity to grow your skills across strategy, execution and integrated communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day to day account management, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Support the development of campaign strategies, PR plans and content calendars
  • Drive execution across integrated campaigns spanning earned, social, digital and influencer
  • Apply a Data & Intelligence lens to your work, using insights to inform planning, optimise performance and strengthen results
  • Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers and key stakeholders
  • Support issues and crisis workstreams, building confidence in navigating sensitive situations
  • Develop high quality content including press releases, pitches and social content
  • Use proprietary AI tools to support content development, research and campaign planning, improving speed and quality of outputs
  • Leverage AI assisted approaches to media monitoring, reporting and performance analysis, helping turn data into sharper insights
  • Manage campaign trackers, reporting and documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to team capability
  • Contribute to new business proposals, case studies and organic growth opportunities

Experience That Contributes To Success

  • 4+ years experience in consumer PR or communications, with exposure to corporate work (corpsumer)
  • Experience delivering B2C campaigns, with some exposure to B2B
  • Strong Data & Intelligence capability, with proven experience using insights and performance data to shape campaigns and demonstrate impact
  • Exposure to or interest in issues and crisis communications
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. generative AI, AI-powered analytics) and a willingness to integrate them into day-to-day workflows
  • Curiosity about emerging technology and how it can improve campaign performance and efficiency
  • Strong media relations and content development skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions focused mindset with strong attention to detail
