From the employer

Brainrider is a creative services company that helps global brands scale creative production through a network of embedded talent and studio partners around the world.

Unlike a traditional agency, we don't execute all creative work ourselves. Instead, we partner with specialized studios while providing our clients with creative leadership, operational excellence, and a seamless client experience.

We're looking for someone to become Brainrider's creative authority across that ecosystem.

About the Role

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Remote, Canada

We're looking for a Head of Creative Operations to become Brainrider's operational leader across our global production ecosystem.

This is not a traditional producer role. This person will own how creative work moves through Brainrider—from intake and scoping through resourcing, studio assignment, workflow, review, QA and final delivery.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building systems, improving workflows, mentoring teams, and helping multiple studios consistently deliver exceptional work.

You'll partner closely with our Head of Creative to ensure projects move efficiently from kickoff through final delivery while maintaining Brainrider's standards for quality, communication, and client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who loves solving operational problems, improving how teams work together, and building scalable production processes within a growing business.

What You'll Do

Creative Operations

● Build and own Brainrider's end-to-end creative delivery model across clients and partner studios.

● Establish clear workflows from intake and scoping through briefing, production, review, QA and delivery.

● Define roles, responsibilities, handoffs and review stages across Brainrider and our studio partners.

● Identify operational gaps and bottlenecks and develop scalable solutions.

● Create playbooks, templates and documentation that establish consistent ways of working.

● Develop operational reporting and metrics to help Brainrider understand capacity, efficiency, delivery performance and areas for improvement.

● Evaluate tools, technology and AI-enabled workflows that can improve how creative work gets delivered.

Studio Operations & Partnerships

● Develop a consistent onboarding model for new studio partners.

● Ensure studios understand Brainrider's processes, client expectations, communication standards and ways of working.

● Help assess studio capabilities and determine where different types of work should be routed.

● Establish mechanisms for sharing learnings and best practices across our studio network.

● Build strong relationships with studio leadership and serve as a senior operational point of contact.

Resourcing & Delivery

● Help develop a scalable approach to resourcing work across Brainrider's studio ecosystem.

● Partner with account and project teams to determine the right studio, team structure and level of seniority for different engagements.

● Provide oversight on complex or high-risk projects and help teams proactively identify delivery risks.

● Troubleshoot operational challenges before they impact clients.

● Help Brainrider balance quality, speed, capacity and commercial considerations when making resourcing decisions.

Quality & Operational Excellence

● Develop production QA processes that improve consistency across all partner studios.

● Identify bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements.

● Build reporting and operational metrics that help Brainrider continuously improve.

● Help evaluate new production tools, AI workflows, and operational technologies.

● Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

● Help define production roles and responsibilities as Brainrider scales.

● Provide guidance on resourcing decisions across multiple projects and clients.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

● Significant experience in creative operations, agency operations, integrated production, or creative project leadership.

● Experience managing complex creative programs across multiple brands or clients.

● Experience building production systems—not just running projects.

● Strong understanding of creative workflows from briefing through final delivery.

● Experience working with distributed teams, freelancers, or partner agencies.

● Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

● An entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about helping build a growing business.
