We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client a Head of Media & Partnerships.

The Head of Media & Partnerships is responsible for leading the Company's Marketing Division’s overall Media function by driving media expansion, strategic partnerships, media intelligence and commercial growth. This role provides strategic leadership while remaining actively involved in building and expanding the Agency's global media network, developing the Agency's Media Database, and producing high-quality commercial proposals and presentations that support business growth.

The role oversees the Media Department through the Media Manager and directly leads the Media Research Team, ensuring both functions operate collaboratively while maintaining clear ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Media & Partnerships department, defining and executing the department's strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Manage and develop the Media team, fostering collaboration, performance and continuous growth.
  • Drive the expansion and strengthening of the Marketing Agency's media and partnership network.
  • Be fully responsible for the development of commercial media proposals for new business opportunities and existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy, Sales and Account Management to create tailored media solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy and continuous development of the media database and operational processes.
  • Monitor departmental performance, analyse results and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and commercial outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media partners, stakeholders and industry contacts.
  • Conduct and validate media research alongside the Media Research team to ensure the quality and accuracy of our media database.
  • Prepare regular strategic updates and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Undertake any other duties related to the role as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in media relations, partnerships, PR, communications, or a similar role
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
