Job Description
- Define and evolve RTL Group’s strategic growth agenda and long-term corporate strategy.
- Lead Group-wide strategy projects and transformation initiatives.
- Drive cross-functional projects across streaming, broadcasting, content production, AdTech and digital.
- Challenge and support business units on strategic execution and value creation initiatives.
- Evaluate portfolio options, investment opportunities, partnerships, M&A transactions and business development initiatives.
- Develop strategic recommendations for the Group Executive Committee and Board.
- Develop strategic narratives for capital markets and key stakeholders.
- Manage external advisors and consulting teams.
Qualifications
- University degree (Master or equivalent) in business administration or economics with an outstanding academic track record.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Business Development & Strategy, in an international context in a top tier consultancy firm, investment bank, private equity or an international corporation in the TMT sector. (e.g. media, technology, digital, streaming or entertainment industry exposure.)
- Proven experience leading complex, executive-level projects across multiple countries and business units.
- Highly entrepreneurial, able to navigate ambiguity and maintain a strong execution focus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with Executive Committee and Board-level stakeholders.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
- Perfect command of spoken and written English (CEFR level C2). Other languages, such as German, are a plus,
