We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the profitable growth of our CASE and Industrial Specialties business in Mexico.

This position is responsible for defining and executing the national commercial strategy, developing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities. The role will also lead, coach and develop a team of Technical Sales Executives located across different regions of Mexico.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of Technical Sales Executives.
  • Define and execute commercial strategies, sales plans, budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage, pipeline management and achievement of sales and profitability targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts, technical stakeholders and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, technologies and customer needs.
  • Work closely with principals and internal teams to develop product positioning and market growth initiatives.
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities and portfolio synergies.
  • Participate in strategic customer visits and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor sales performance, profitability, customer retention and forecast accuracy.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of commercial experience in specialty chemicals, industrial raw materials or chemical distribution.
  • Proven experience leading and developing technical-commercial teams across different regions of Mexico.
  • Strong market and application knowledge in:
    • Additives
    • Coatings
    • Plastics
    • Lubricants
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, key account management, negotiation and profitable sales growth.
  • Ability to understand technical product information and convert it into differentiated customer solutions.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Availability to travel frequently throughout Mexico.
