The Director of Marketing Insights, Analytics & Strategy to lead a holistic insights, reporting, and long-range business planning function spanning Aspen Skiing Company, The Little Nell, Limelight Hotels, and Aspen Collection. This role will translate complex, multi-brand data — spanning lift ticket and pass sales, lodging, retail, loyalty, and digital engagement — into clear insights and forward-looking strategy that shape investment, optimize decisions, elevate executive understanding of performance, and inform annual and multi-year business planning across the portfolio. This position leads strategy, development and execution of a comprehensive marketing insights, data definitions for automation approaches and reporting framework across a diverse portfolio of marketing initiatives — and you will own translating that framework into the company's long-range business planning process, building the investment scenarios and multi-year roadmaps that connect marketing performance to portfolio-wide growth strategy. This position establishes scalable reporting cadences, define KPI frameworks across channels (paid media, lifecycle/CRM, on-property/in-resort and on-site digital experiences, social, and loyalty), and guide the implementation and evolution of advanced measurement approaches, including marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution, calibrated to the seasonality and long booking windows of a resort and hospitality business. This position reports to the Chief Digital Officer.
The salary range for this position is $104,500 - $170,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end marketing performance analysis & insights strategy across campaigns, channels, and initiatives for all four Aspen One brands.
- Architect, define, own and standardize the analytics and insights framework, KPI structure and success metrics across marketing efforts, aligned to the COE's Expand/Grow/Elevate strategic pillars — establishing it as the common measurement language across Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and Digital.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders, including business-unit and executive leadership.
- Communicate insights and related strategy recommendations to executive leadership on a regular basis.
- Partner with Data & Digital Engineering teams to develop, evolve, and inform models suited to long consideration cycles, seasonality, and cross-brand guest journeys.
- Regularly identify opportunities and make recommendations to optimize marketing spend, targeting, and channel mix across paid media, lifecycle/CRM, loyalty, and on-property digital experiences.
- Support the COE's first-party data and unified guest identity initiatives by ensuring measurement frameworks connect cleanly to guest-level data. Business Planning & Strategy
- Lead the translation of the marketing insights and KPI framework into quarterly, annual, and multi-year (long-range) business planning, building the growth strategy and portfolio-wide roadmaps that guide where the business invests next.
- Build and own strategic planning model — connecting performance trends, spend levels, and conversion assumptions to projected business outcomes — to quantify the gap to target and the investment required to close it.
- Example: The scale of investment and tactics needed across all BU’s to compete with Vail’s strategic pivot from expansion strategy to loyalty strategy.
- Serve as a critical contributor to marketing tactical planning and investment decisions through data-driven insights, supporting both annual and in-season budget cycles, and building the business case for multi-year investment commitments.
- Act as a central point of contact for marketing performance evaluation and investment planning across the portfolio.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to influence budget allocation, cost tracking, and performance measurement across brands and lines of business, converting performance data into Finance-ready investment cases.
- Design, own and lead a recurring executive business-review cadence — synthesizing marketing and commercial performance into forward-looking strategic implications, risks, and investment priorities for senior leadership.
- Drive alignment across a decentralized, multi-brand organization, ensuring a consistent and trusted source of truth for performance measurement that underpins both operating decisions and long-range strategy.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- 7 years of experience in marketing analytics, growth marketing, performance measurement, or a related field — including experience translating insights into long-range business planning and strategy, and people or matrixed team leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience working across large, complex datasets spanning multiple business systems
- Experience defining KPIs and building reporting frameworks across multiple marketing channels and brands
- Experience translating performance and demand data into investment recommendations, business cases, and strategic plans for senior and executive stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills with experience building and delivering executive-level presentations
- Experience in hospitality, travel, resort, retail, or another multi-brand consumer business with long booking or consideration cycles
- Familiarity with data modeling methodologies, including adapting them to seasonal, multi-touchpoint guest journeys
- Experience building investment or scenario models that translate performance and demand signals into multi-year budget and resource-allocation recommendations
- Strong storytelling skills — able to distill complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for executive and business-unit audiences
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and build processes from the ground up within a centralized COE model serving multiple business units
- Experience navigating the dynamics between a centralized function and autonomous business units
- Experience leading or directly contributing to annual and long-range (multi-year) business planning cycles, partnering with Finance and executive leadership on investment strategy

- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
