What’s New with Aptar

We have an exciting opportunity open for a year-round Marketing Intern in Cary. This position will be on-site and will work approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours are flexible.

Position Summary

Provide direct support to the NA Beauty Marketing team with day-to-day execution: including sample management, trade show preparation, and creation of marketing presentations and collateral. Additionally, assist Product Line Managers with basic data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence to help identify trends and business opportunities.

Position Details

• Provide support across a variety of activities, gaining hands-on experience in marketing operations, content development, and market analysis.
• Manage and coordinate product samples and marketing materials
• Support trade show planning, preparation, and execution
• Create and update PowerPoint presentations and marketing collateral
• Conduct EXCEL data analysis and reporting on: market research, competitive intelligence to help identify relevant market trends, customer insights, and evolving competitive activity.

Education

• Pursuing a Marketing degree from an accredited college or university
• Sophomore/Junior status
• Ability to work 20-30 hours onsite per week (while attending classes)
• This internship is not eligible for relocation and/or sponsorship

Qualifications

• Intermediate level Powerpoint and MS Excel skills
• Previous market research/competitive intelligence project work and/or internships
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, creative and demonstrates a resourceful mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent analytical skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced working environment

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the starting hourly rate for this role is $19.00/hour.
