JOB TITLE: KEY ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER- PASSENGER VEHICLES
OBJECTIVES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The Key Account Sales Manager - Passenger Vehicles is responsible for developing and executing the Company's Corporate, Fleet, Government and Institutional Sales Strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, increase market share and strengthen customer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the Corporate, Fleet & Government Sales Strategy, including annual sales forecasts, budgets, targets, pipeline management, market analysis and business development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify, prospect and secure new corporate, fleet, government, rental and institutional business opportunities while establishing strategic partnerships and key customer relationships.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts through customer visits, presentations, business reviews, retention initiatives and the promotion of value-added solutions including service agreements, maintenance packages and warranty programs.
- Monitor and evaluate public and private sector tender opportunities and lead the preparation, review, coordination and submission of compliant tender responses, bids and commercial proposals.
- Monitor sales performance against established KPIs, sales targets, gross profit objectives and market share goals while ensuring account profitability and sustainable revenue growth.
- Prepare and present monthly sales, pipeline, tender, forecasting and performance reports to Executive Management and maintain accurate CRM data and opportunity tracking.
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Finance and Aftersales teams to identify opportunities, negotiate commercial arrangements and deliver integrated customer solutions and exceptional service support.
- Represent the Company at industry events, networking functions, trade shows and customer engagement activities to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
- Support digital transformation, CRM optimization and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency and sales effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer service excellence, and perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager, New Vehicle Sales.
- Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by the GM – New Vehicle Sales.
Education
- Undergraduate Degree: Marketing/Business Administration
- A Postgraduate Degree will be considered an asset
- 3 - 5 years’ Experience in a related field
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience managing Corporate, B2B, Fleet, Government, or Institutional Accounts.
- Experience preparing, coordinating and managing tenders, bids and commercial contracts.
- Experience within the Automotive Industry would be an asset.
