Working closely with sales, marketing, technical, and partner teams, you will enable distributors to effectively position and sell Acronis solutions, identify new business opportunities, and maximize partner performance and revenue.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Grow and manage strategic distributor partnerships by building trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, and serving as the primary point of contact for business, sales, and technology initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion through joint business planning, go-to-market strategies, territory development, new partner recruitment, and initiatives that increase Acronis’ share of wallet across reseller and service provider channels.
- Lead sales execution with distributors by managing pipelines and forecasts, conducting regular business reviews, supporting opportunities through closure, and working closely with sales and presales teams to achieve targets.
- Enable and develop the channel through onboarding, training, sales enablement, and adoption of Acronis solutions, programs, and tools, with a focus on both on-premise and cloud-based offerings.
- Drive joint marketing and promotional initiatives with distributors, including partner recruitment, campaigns, incentives, and effective use of marketing resources to generate business results.
- Collaborate across Acronis by leading virtual cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, partner success, technical, presales, and renewals to deliver a strong partner experience.
- Use market and business insights to drive growth by monitoring industry and competitive trends, analyzing partner performance, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue, reach, and overall channel effectiveness.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, channel development, or account management; experience working with distributors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of channel and field sales, with an understanding of cloud-based business models.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through partners.
- Strong business development, strategic planning, and sales execution skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of a partner organization.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
