WWAY, the ABC, CBS, and CW affiliate serving the Cape Fear region, is looking for a full-time Multimedia Journalist to join our dynamic newsroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise original story ideas and follow breaking news
- Shoot, write, and edit compelling news packages
- Present stories on-air and online
- Contribute actively to our digital and social media platforms
- Participate in community events and station initiatives
- Operate live shots via our TVU system
- Strong storytelling and writing skills
- Solid news judgment and ability to stay ahead of developing stories
- A team player with a professional, positive attitude
- Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
A demo reel showing reporter standups and packages is required for consideration.
