Who this fits

You’ll thrive if you’re a self-starting senior designer who combines ambitious ideas with careful execution, strategic thinking and comfort with feedback. The role suits someone who can collaborate with marketing teams, copywriters and stakeholders while taking ownership of complex work. You’ll need to work from Wise’s London office three days each week.

From the employer

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

We’re looking for a Senior Creative Designer to join our Brand and Creative team in London. As an excellent visual designer, you’ll play a key part in helping our in-house agency create impactful, recognisable and effective marketing campaigns and content.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can think big (campaigns, bold ideas) and small (details, finesse) at the same time. We’re looking for an ambitious, passionate, creative self-starter with at least 7 years of experience in a similar in-house team or reputable agency.

Your mission
At Wise, we’re here to make the world’s money work. Over ten years ago we changed how the world moves its money. But that was just the start. Making money do more, for more people, in more places is next.

A key part of that mission is raising awareness about Wise. As part of the Brand, Creative & Strategy team you’ll work with our internal marketing teams to create campaigns across multiple channels.

Here’s how you’ll contribute to the team:

  • You’ll build relationships with stakeholders, following up on performance and insights to learn how we can iterate to have more impact.

  • You’ll convey ideas and beliefs with imagination and conviction, using creativity to challenge assumptions and ask ‘what if’.

  • You’ll be a custodian of the brand applying it intuitively from button to billboard.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be creative: We’re an ambitious team with a lot of creative appetite. You’ll use curiosity and creativity to challenge the status quo. You’ll bring inspiration from everywhere, constantly striving to connect our brand to culture and the worlds our customers live in.

  • Have ownership: You’ll own and lead on projects from start to finish, collaborating with others in the marketing org as a key collaborator in helping them meet their objectives.

  • Have impact: You’ll join our exciting mission of Money without Borders.

About you:

  • You have a strong portfolio of high-impact, consumer-facing work that demonstrates great typographic, layout, hierarchy and technical skills across all things marketing – digital and print.

  • You’ve got a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and how to design for it as well as experience with art direction, photography and storyboarding.

  • You’re comfortable with creative ideation for all channels and can spot and exploit creative opportunities.

  • You’ve experience working with copywriters that shape messaging to aid design.

  • You’re confident building presentations and taking stakeholders on a journey – communicating your process, ideas and solutions.

  • You’re strategic and solutions-focused. You understand the ‘why’ and will seek to understand the real outcomes of the brief before heading into creative solutions.

  • Organised and able to take ownership of complex projects, work with different teams and prioritise to meet deadlines. You thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • You’re solutions-oriented and able to navigate feedback.

  • You have a deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or the confidence that you can learn the latter if it’s not in your current skillset).

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to get to high quality creative work (development, execution and versioning) will be a plus.

  • You’re able to attend our London office 3 days a week.

  • Bonus skills: A basic knowledge of After Effects and / or Cinema 4D.

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
