As a Business Development Manager Non-Tissue Applications Fibre Materials (m/f/d) at WEPA, you will play a key role in developing our Fibre Materials business area in line with the WEPA strategy. Your focus will be on driving the profitable growth of Premium Recycled Pulp in non-tissue applications and establishing scalable, sustainable business relationships with customers across relevant markets.
Your responsibilities
- You strategically analyse the non-tissue paper and board market and identify attractive applications, market segments and potential customers for our target products.
- You develop new business opportunities and continuously build a strong pipeline of qualified leads. On top of that, you establish, maintain and expand sustainable customer relationships across the paper and packaging industry.
- You translate our business strategy into scalable and commercially successful customer partnerships.
- You gain a thorough understanding of our customers’ applications, processes and requirements and translate these insights into the WEPA organisation.
- You contribute to the development of appropriate pricing strategies and support their successful implementation in the market.
- You actively contribute to building and structuring the Fibre Materials business area in support of WEPA Group’s strategic targets and transformation ambitions.
Your profile
- Qualification: You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Sales, Business Development or a comparable field.
- Experience and know-how:
- You have a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in the packaging, speciality paper, moulded fibre or a comparable industrial B2B market.
- You have a sound understanding of the paper and packaging industry as well as an established network within relevant market segments.
- You have experience in indirect sales and in developing long-term B2B customer relationships.
- You are experienced in identifying new market opportunities and translating them into commercially viable and scalable business models.
- Personality: You are a strong networker and relationship builder with excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Working style: You combine strategic and analytical thinking with a hands-on approach and a strong drive to turn ideas into tangible business results.
- Languages: You communicate confidently in English. German and/or French language skills are an advantage.
- Other: You are proficient in MS Office and have experience in using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce. You are willing to travel internationally as required by the role.
