About the Role
The client is looking for an experienced Senior Motion Artist / Video Editor to join a regional creative team producing rapid-turn editorial and marketing content. Working in close partnership with client stakeholders and a distributed global team, this role will transform existing footage, design assets and approved content into polished, engaging video and motion deliverables.
The ideal candidate combines strong editing instincts with motion-design expertise. They should be equally comfortable shaping an edit, animating graphics and timing visuals to audio, while working closely with the design team to maintain a cohesive visual system.
An interest in AI, emerging technology and new approaches to creative production is essential.
Requirements
In This Role, They Will
- Edit existing footage and approved content into clear, engaging video deliverables.
- Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions and supporting visual elements.
- Apply established brand guidelines, motion principles and design systems across all work.
- Use existing content thoughtfully to make technical and editorial stories more dynamic and accessible.
- Time edits and animation precisely to voiceover, music and other audio elements.
- Partner with designers to adapt static assets, layouts, charts and graphics for motion.
- Work with technical writers and producers to maintain narrative clarity and content accuracy.
- Interpret briefs and feedback independently, identifying gaps and asking focused questions when needed.
- Create efficient workflows and reusable motion components that support rapid-turn production.
- Prepare organized project files that can be easily understood and continued by distributed teams.
- Support clear, documented handoffs when work continues across regions or shifts.
- Conduct thorough self-QA across visual quality, timing, audio, spelling, brand alignment, specifications and version control.
- Incorporate feedback quickly while maintaining craft and consistency.
- Use approved AI and creative technology tools to support editing, animation and production efficiency.

Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing or post-production within an agency, technology company or in-house creative organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Working proficiency in Figma, including navigating files, reviewing components and exporting production-ready assets.
- Strong motion-graphics, animation and editorial storytelling skills.
- Experience working with existing footage, static design assets, voiceover and music.
- Strong understanding of pacing, timing, composition, typography and audio synchronization.
- Ability to animate charts, diagrams and technical information clearly and accurately.
- Familiarity with established brand systems, templates and reusable motion toolkits.
- Strong file organization, version-control and self-QA practices.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage rapid turnarounds and maintain quality when priorities shift.
- Experience collaborating across regions, time zones and shift-based teams.
- Ability to work on assigned nontraditional shifts and participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required, as all briefs, feedback and creative deliverables will be in English.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Working Model
This is a hybrid, shift-based role supporting a global production model. Working hours will vary by assigned shift and may include early mornings, evenings, overnight coverage or other nontraditional schedules. Participation in a planned weekend and holiday rotation will also be required. Schedules will be established in advance, with some flexibility needed around urgent priorities and cross-regional handoffs.
The current shift is 8 hours/day, 1:00 AM–9:00 AM PDT. Shift timings may change based on business requirements, so flexibility across different shift timings is mandatory. Shifts will be rotational and planned accordingly amongst the talents.
The role requires 5 working days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates must be comfortable working on weekends.
Schedules will generally be communicated in advance, but candidates should be flexible to support urgent priorities and cross-regional handoffs when required.
Once selected, the talent must be available to start immediately
