We are looking for an experienced 2D Video Editor for a remote contractual engagement focused on producing short-form stop-motion style videos and high-volume creative adaptations across multiple formats and dimensions.
The role is ideal for a detail-oriented editor who can work efficiently with pre-approved creative assets, brand guidelines, templates, and master files. You will be responsible for sequencing, animating, and editing provided assets into polished final videos while maintaining visual consistency across multiple versions.

- Edit short-form 15โ30 second 2D stop-motion style videos using provided creative assets.
- Stitch, sequence, animate, and edit existing images, graphics, PNGs, and other assets into polished final videos.
- Create frame-by-frame and asset-based animations that deliver a convincing stop-motion feel.
- Develop multiple adaptations and versions of approved master creatives across different formats and dimensions.
- Follow established brand guidelines, creative templates, master files, and production specifications accurately.
- Maintain consistency in typography, graphics, transitions, movement, timing, layouts, and visual treatment across all deliverables.
- Adapt videos for different aspect ratios, dimensions, file formats, and platform requirements.
- Ensure all final outputs meet quality standards and technical specifications before delivery.
- Manage multiple creative deliverables simultaneously while meeting defined deadlines.
- Organise project files and maintain efficient editing workflows.
- Review final videos for visual and technical accuracy.
- Identify potential issues, missing assets, or dependencies and communicate them proactively.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure smooth execution of bulk adaptation projects.

What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D video editing, motion design, or creative production.
- Strong hands-on experience creating stop-motion style, frame-by-frame, or asset-based video edits.
- Proven ability to create short-form videos using pre-existing image, graphic, and PNG assets.
- Strong understanding of sequencing, timing, transitions, movement, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for handling and preparing creative assets.
- Strong understanding of aspect ratios, dimensions, video formats, resolutions, and platform-specific requirements.
- Experience working with existing templates, master files, brand guidelines, and approved creative systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail across typography, graphics, text placement, transitions, timing, and layouts.
- Experience working in creative agencies, production teams, digital advertising, social media content production, or high-volume creative adaptation environments is highly desirable.
