Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Build pipeline across sales, marketing, and internal systems to create new opportunities
  • Work with founders, engineers, and product teams to automate sales and onboarding workflows
  • Create demos, reference architectures, integration guides, and technical documentation for sales cycles
  • Shape outbound, pricing, expansion, and sales playbooks as the process develops
  • Switch between winning new logos and building internal systems as priorities change

What you bring

  • You have written production software and understand modern development practices, CI/CD, and the SDLC deeply
  • You can translate complex technical ideas for both engineers and executives, changing your approach by audience
  • You take initiative in ambiguous settings, move quickly, and build processes from scratch
  • You bring an entrepreneurial, action-oriented approach to the work

Who this fits

You’ll suit a technical, hands-on individual contributor who can move between pipeline generation, solution design, and internal process building. The role is based five days a week in the San Francisco office. Experience with developer tools, AI/ML platforms, infrastructure software, or an early-stage startup would be useful.

From the employer

About Weave

At Weave, we’re building the best software for the best engineering teams to move faster, and we want to hire exceptional sales talent to help us get our product in their hands.

Trusted by 200+ customers such as Robinhood, Rho, PostHog and Browserbase, we’ve delivered consistent double-digit month-over-month revenue growth since May 2025 and are looking to accelerate our growth.

We've raised a $13.5 million Series A and are backed by Standard Capital, YCombinator, Moonfire, Burst Capital, IrregEx and the Agent Fund.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and shape how millions of engineers and leaders understand engineering work.

You'll be working directly with me (Adam), the CEO. Before I was CEO of Weave I scaled multiple sales teams from $0-30M in ARR. I want to give you all the support and growth opportunities in this role that I got when I went through it.

You’ll also be working directly with Andrew, the CTO. Andrew runs engineering at Weave, and before that worked as the founding engineer at Causal.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline: do whatever it takes across systems, sales and marketing to build pipeline.

  • Partner closely with founders, engineers, and product to automate as much of the sales and onboarding process as possible.

  • Create technical enablement assets: Build demos, reference architectures, integration guides, and technical documentation that accelerate sales cycles

  • Help refine outbound, pricing, expansion, and playbooks. We’re inventing them as we go

  • Be flexible: some days you’ll be hunting new logos, others you’ll be designing a new internal system

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Exceptional communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives, adapting your message to the audience

  • Self-motivated, comfortable in ambiguity, and wired for speed. Willing to build processes from scratch and do what's needed

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action

  • This role is 5 days in office in SF

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience selling developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or infrastructure software

  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series C) where you built the solutions engineering function

  • Background as a founder, early operator, or first technical hire
