A little bit about our team:

Our Commercial team is at the forefront of driving digital innovation, fan engagement, and commercial growth across Warner Music ANZ SEA. We work collaboratively to connect our incredible roster of artists with audiences across Australasia and South East Asia. In this team, you will collaborate with passionate professionals in Artist Strategy and Marketing to build lasting relationships with fans and create memorable experiences.


Your role:

As our Social and Community Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming casual music listeners into dedicated superfans across digital and physical spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of fan engagement by creating immersive experiences, from Discord events to physical activations. You will work at the very heart of music culture, collaborating daily with talented artist strategy and marketing teams to build thriving communities. In this vibrant role, you will bring your creativity and passion for digital connection to life every single day within our supportive Sydney office.


Here you’ll get to:

  • You will develop and execute innovative strategies that deepen fan engagement across both digital and physical touchpoints.
  • You will partner with our Artist Strategy team to organise and deliver exciting in-person experiences including listening parties, pop-up events, and activations.
  • You will build and grow highly active digital communities on platforms such as Discord and WhatsApp, and other community platforms.
  • You will design and execute personalised email and SMS campaigns that keep fans connected and informed.
  • You will identify opportunities to turn casual listeners into superfans by analysing campaign data and fan behaviour.
  • Working with a team, you will oversee social channel execution for official Warner pages and artist HQ accounts to ensure high-quality and creative content.
  • You will drive initiatives to capture valuable first-party data through registrations, sign-ups, and competitions.
  • You will collaborate with data teams to ensure all fan data is managed responsibly and utilised to optimise the fan journey.



About you:

  • You have strong experience in community management, fan engagement, and campaign management within the entertainment or music industry.
  • You understand how fan ecosystems and communities interact and thrive
  • You are passionate about connecting artists and fans through creative digital moments and memorable physical events.
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can coordinate with multiple teams.
  • You are confident acting as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders across the campaigns you manage.
  • You have a deep understanding of fan acquisition platforms like Co:Brand, Laylo, and first-party data collection.
  • You have personal or professional experience participating in artist fandoms on Discord, Whatsapp and other digital community platforms.
  • You will bring an analytical mindset to interpret fan insights and utilise them to improve campaign performance.
  • You have outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We’d love it if you also had:

  • You have experience using tools such as Airtable, Canva, Laylo, or Discord.
  • You have worked with e-commerce teams on direct-to-consumer email marketing initiatives.
