Job Description
We are seeking a strong Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, delivery, integration, and ongoing optimization of Visa Marketing 360, Visa’s global marketing automation and personalization platform. This role requires solid product management expertise, hands-on experience translating business and client engagement needs into scalable platform capabilities, and the ability to partner effectively across marketing, loyalty, engineering, design, analytics, privacy, compliance, and regional teams.
The ideal candidate will bring deep product management discipline, strong stakeholder leadership, and experience delivering complex digital or MarTech products that support customer engagement, marketing automation, personalization, journey orchestration, and measurable business outcomes. Experience with customer engagement platforms, CRM, MarTech, marketing automation, personalization, or related capabilities is strongly preferred.
In this role, you will own the product lifecycle for Visa Marketing 360, ensuring the platform continues to evolve as a scalable, secure, compliant, and business-impactful solution for Visa and its clients.
Main Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Visa Marketing 360, ensuring the platform continues to enable scalable customer engagement, personalization, automation, and measurable marketing outcomes.
Lead the integration of Visa Marketing 360 with internal and external partners, ensuring clear requirements, scalable data flows, strong user experiences, and capabilities that support personalization, automation, and customer engagement.
Identify opportunities to enhance targeting, segmentation, journey orchestration, real-time decisioning, and performance optimization through platform enhancements, data-driven capabilities, and emerging technologies.
Platform Management & Development
Translate marketing and client engagement objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and success metrics.
Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value, user needs, technical feasibility, analytics, and stakeholder feedback.
Partner with engineering, design, analytics, and marketing stakeholders to deliver high-quality platform enhancements on time and within scope, including capabilities that improve automation, personalization, workflow efficiency, and measurable marketing impact.
Ensure the product roadmap balances business value, user needs, technical feasibility, scalability, compliance, and innovation.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement
Partner closely with global, regional, and market-level Visa stakeholders to understand business goals, client engagement needs, and operational requirements, translating them into scalable product solutions.
Support the development of training programs, onboarding materials, best-practice playbooks, and enablement resources to drive adoption and effective use of Visa Marketing 360.
Communicate roadmap priorities, delivery progress, trade-offs, and product decisions clearly to business, technology, and regional stakeholders.
Data & Performance Optimization
Use analytics, campaign performance insights, user feedback, and customer engagement data to identify opportunities to optimize platform capabilities and improve marketing outcomes.
Partner with analytics and business teams to define success metrics, monitor performance, and evaluate the impact of new platform features.
Assess where AI, automation, and other emerging capabilities can improve personalization, operational efficiency, targeting, and journey optimization.
Compliance & Market Awareness
Ensure platform capabilities and marketing activities comply with Visa’s data privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor the MarTech, customer engagement, personalization, and marketing automation landscape to identify relevant trends, best practices, and opportunities for platform innovation.
Partner with legal, privacy, compliance, security, and technology teams to ensure new capabilities are designed and delivered responsibly.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- At least 7 years of product management experience, with a proven ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, write clear requirements, prioritize backlogs, and deliver complex digital products in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of launching, scaling, and continuously improving digital products, platforms, or MarTech capabilities that deliver measurable business or marketing impact.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology, CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, journey orchestration, personalization, segmentation, and customer experience platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business, client, and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and success metrics.
- Experience working with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, legal, privacy, compliance, and regional stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant product capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, backlog management, release planning, and product delivery tools such as Jira.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global, regional, technical, and business teams.
- Customer-oriented and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use analytics, user feedback, and performance insights to guide product decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI where relevant, to improve platform capabilities, operational efficiency, personalization, and business outcomes.
- Experience with customer engagement, CRM, loyalty, marketing automation, or MarTech platforms, with the ability to translate market trends and stakeholder needs into practical product enhancements.
- Familiarity with AI and other emerging MarTech trends, with the ability to assess where they can improve customer engagement, personalization, automation, or platform efficiency.
- Experience working with cross-regional teams and adapting marketing solutions for diverse markets.
- Knowledge of global data privacy regulations and their implications for marketing technology, data-driven personalization, and customer engagement.
